Traditional melodies chosen from Kurmancî, Dimilî, Soranî, Lorî, Kelhorî, Hewramî dialects of Kurdish are sometimes presented in forms of solo, trio, quartets and quints to the apperciation of listeners.
Depending on the sense of the choses piece, Koma ma can turn into a choir consisting of 20 people or orchestra. Sentûr, tembûr, sêtêl(dede sazı), ud, sêtar, violin, pipe, chello, def and percussion are the main insturments of koma ma. Their first recorded piece is “Xezan” by Parwiz Mashkatian.
